Reflections of a traveller

Four years ago, I was a mother of one tiny baby and now I am a busy mother of three kids just under 4 alhamdulillah. Life has changed a lot for me. Sometimes I do feel quite overwhelmed with all the chores. But Alhamdulillah I am happy to be an active mum J I hope things will get a bit easier when our children are grown up Insha-Allah. I have finally started taking my driving lessons and Alhamdulillah hope to drive soon Insha-Allah. Four years ago, I just had a dream that I would like to start a family magazine which will cater for the Muslims  living in the West . Now alhamdulillah the magazine Aaila  is up and running, thanks to all our precious writers and readers. I have high hopes from the magazine. I hope and make sincere dua that Aaila becomes a household name Insha-Allah and benefit each and every person on this planet, ameen! Good books are an amazing blessing of Allah subhana ta'ala. I love reading books and that can be any book , given there is a lot to learn from it :-) I am quite obsessed with buying books but still haven't finished reading them all. For this year's resolution I thought I will stop buying more books until I finish reading whatever I already have. Unfortunately it's not that easy changing old habits :-( so as usual I have already bought quite a lot through Amazon . Insha-Allah I will read all of them very soon and hope to do reviews Insha-Allah.

I am so glad that it's snowing in London alhamdulillah. I love the amazing view! Everything seems so peaceful mashallah. The world seems all sugar-coated :-) This year it's extra special as we are blessed with three gorgeous children alhamdulillah. Imran (4) and Ayesha ( almost 3) are enjoying their time in the snow. Baby Yusuf ( 9 months) enjoys looking at his siblings and parents playing with snow. Insha-Allah hopefully next year he can join in the fun. As usual we made a snowman in the garden. Although our snowman is not really a very good-looking one, it is OUR handmade snowman alhamdulillah. Yobo is a Liverpool fan so I used his Liverpool scarf to give the snowman a funny look. Kids used their toy bucket and spade to make the snowman and some 'sand castle' with our help. Alhamdulillah we had a great time today.
