Our beloved brother, Sharif Osman Hadi passed away last Friday 19th of December 2025 . Inna lillahi wa inna ilaiher rajeuun. We belong to our Lord and to Him is our return. He was shot on his head by criminal thugs last week while he was about to start his political campaign after Fajr Salah in Dhaka. Apparently it was his habit to start work after Fajr in the masjid. The interim government of Dr Yunus sent him to Singapore for treatment but doctors there ( a panel of neurosurgeons) couldn't operate as he was in a very critical state . His huge funeral was today in Dhaka near the Parliament. It was heartwarming to see so many people from different parts of Bangladesh travelled to Dhaka, the capital to attend his funeral. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala forgive him and accept him as a Shaheed, ameen! May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala give his family the Himma (strength) and Sabr (resilience) to endure his loss. He has left behind a 7 months old son and his young widow. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala keep them blessed forever, ameen! Our prayers and thoughts are with the family and friends.
As a nation of believers in Bangladesh, he will be remembered for his tremendous efforts to fight against injustice and cultural fascism . His legacy will carry on In sha Allah. He was a very intelligent man. He was such a young man (born in 1993) but he understood the society and its evil practices very well. He dreamt of a Bangladesh free of corruption and injustice. He was running for election as a MP to fight against all sorts of falsehood institutionalized by the Islamophobic, brutal Awami government and its supporters. He knew very well that it will be a long , arduous journey with lots of challenges. Hadi also predicted his own murder as he knew he had a lot of enemies. As a neighboring country to fascist India, Bangladesh has been struggling with political, economic and cultural hegemony of India for decades. Since its so called independence of 1971 from Pakistan , it has been treated as a province of India . The puppet governments, in particular, Bangladesh Awami League (BAL) have been serving India's interest from day one.
